Testing schedules

Recently graduated with my BSN. Just waiting on my transcripts so I can get the ATT letter. My question: How frequently do test centers have the NCLEX? Just want to be able to plan my test (or at least think about it). Why is this such a mystery?

Thanks.

Many centers offer morning afternoon and evening test times 7 days a week in the U.S. A classmate scheduled next day evening I scheduled 2 days out in AM

Because the schedule is fluid it's not available until you are eligible to schedule & test. This way you don't think you have a date/time that's long gone by the time you are eligible

Where I am, it is 2 exam times Mon-Fri, no exams on weekends. When I graduated last year, one of my classmates got her appointment within 2 or 3 days of getting her ATT. Most of us chose to study for a month or so first, but it was no problem choosing the date and time we wanted. If you are in a state where quick results are avail, it is 48 hours no matter what day of the week it is, but if not, most BONs are closed on weekends and if you are going to stress over results like most of us do, I would suggest taking it early in the week so that you have a chance of your BON posting results more quickly
