Testing and day shift

Question for nurses who work day shift and random screen... How do you do it? For example, 7a-7p shift. I am selected for testing. My state uses Firstlab who's preferred testing is labcop facilities, and their hours are 7a-3p. Other sites that are approved, non labcorp, near me close around 6 pm. Do you guys go to a urgent care and pay the hefty collection fee? How do you work with this? Thanks, I'm genuinely interested, I don't see how I could work day shift right now and test.

I test on my lunch break, worked things out with my manager, a few close friends in the know to cover me if it takes a little longer than my break, then work extra to make up the difference, not perfect solution but works most the time. ... Peace ...

Decade ago I had my hospital added as approved testing site, I think the collection fee was 10-15$......well worth it, since nearest quest or first lab was 60miles away one way.....
