So, I am in the middle of completing prerequisite at Motlow Community College here in Tennessee.
I don't really know any nursing students and it always seems like the adviser are always so busy, so I thought I would present my questions to you guys.
How hard is it to get excepted?
Do they go on other facts besides the NET testing? Because I think if I start working on that now I will do well on it?
I don't have terrible grades, but I am in no way an A student.
So, I am not really sure if anyone can really answer this question, I am just kind of in freak out mode at the moment.
Help?
Thank you.

I just graduated a BSN program here in Tennessee, but I can still remember how nervous I was about being accepted into the program. I can't remember exactly what I scored on the NET exam, but I do know that it was a less than stellar score. For our program they looked at both your NET score and your GPA to determine whether or not you were accepted. I had a 3.8 gpa but had friends who had less than a 3.0 gpa and were still accepted. Really it just depends on how many people apply to the program when you do. It is a good idea to study hard to keep your grades up and practice for the NET exam so that you are comparable to other students who are applying.
Best of luck to you!!

Hannah,
Have you read through Motlow's nursing site? I did not attend there but the website looks very thorough:
http://www.mscc.cc.tn.us/nursing/index.html
The first link is the application and spells out the admission/selection criteria.
