  1. So, I am in the middle of completing prerequisite at Motlow Community College here in Tennessee. I don't really know any nursing students and it always seems like the adviser are always so busy, so I thought I would present my questions to you guys. How hard is it to get excepted? Do they go on other facts besides the NET testing? Because I think if I start working on that now I will do well on it? I don't have terrible grades, but I am in no way an A student. So, I am not really sure if anyone can really answer this question, I am just kind of in freak out mode at the moment. Help? Thank you.
  2. So after a few years in community college I am ready to give up on that and do something with my life that actually matters. So i want to go into a nursing program, but I am kinda unsure as to what program is best for me. I was thinking an LPN, just because I am not sure I can pass the Math part of the NET to get into and RN program, however I am not interested AT ALL in working in a elderly home or something of the sort. I read somewhere that it is kinda hard to get a hospitals position as an LPN, but I pretty much only want to work at a hospitals. Also I think I will eventually want to become an RN, so would it be smart to just drive right into the RN program, assuming I can pass the enterance exam...or should I try to work as am LPN for a while? Oh God, I AM LOST! HELP!

So I have been in college for a while majoring in biology, I mostly just have some gen ed out of the way. Now I am thinking about just going into a LPN program. However, after I work as an LPN for a while I am interested in becoming an RN. I have a few questions: 1. what exactally does an LPN do? 2. how hard is it to go form an LPN to an RN? Thanks!
