:scrying:Hi, im looking for cheap accommodation for end of july near Royal North shore Hospital. I would like somewhere to stay whilst I find a permanant appartment. Im not really wanting to stay in back packing type of accommodation. If anyone knows of any where cheap n cheerful all appreciated. Im coming from Scotland and unsure where most nurses in my position stay. help help

If you check on lastminute you'll find a range of accomodation including guest houses (from $45 a night for a double room). Accomodation around RNS is really expensive, so you're almost certainly much better off living further away and commuting in. Good luck :)

scots, there's an apartment building right near the hospital called; "the forum". my son lived there for a time. it has a swimming pool, gym etc inside the building. there are short term leases available from memory. you might even be able to share with someone already there who is looking for a flatmate. it's got an access to the hospital and the train stops right beneath the complex. there's shops and all kinds of other outlets, including food outlets.

good luck and in advance .............welcome to australia! :)

I would recommend Glenferrie Lodge. Very reasonably price and short distances from the hospital. Quite a good option in term of price and facility. Find more on Agoda website - hotels in Sydney. They have wide range of options. I used their service before and never disappoint.
