Where can I find documentation of regulations liability for nurses taking telephone orders from and unknown MD while working in a non medical facility

non medical facility.. what does that mean. If it doesn't offer/do pt care of any kind;why would you need to take a MD order?

Non medical facility? This makes no sense. However, most medical facilities have hospital policies to govern this issue. If you have questions, see charge nurse or nurse manager.
