Tease V.......What to expect second time around? Freaking Out

I took the tease V a month ago and failed it barely passing with a 60% (pass requirement needed was 62% for my school & no time requirement between retaking exams)............I am now taking the tease V for the second time this Saturday and I am freaking out and not knowing what to expect. I have been studying the tease V study manual and getting tips from other people on these threads here and there. However, I really do not know, will it be easier the second time around when taking the test? Should I expect the same questions or does it get harder?

When i went to the testing center, they were asking if this was your first, second, or third time taking the exam and to input a number based on the frequency you have taken the exam? So for example, on the board if this is your second time taking the exam, then you put in a different number into the ATI system prior to starting then someone who is taking it for the first time. Why is this? Does it mean it gets harder or easier? Not sure why they do that...........

Any input would help ease my mind for this Saturday

    I wish you good luck! I am taking mines next week for the first time yikes! I am trying to get into an LPN program. I did but a test book ( Mccgraw Hill) to get and idea and do a bit of studying...I hate tests

    T.E.A.S- Test of essential academic skills! I really like the "tease" test though, like ATI is teasing you about almost getting into school :)

    Did you focus on the areas you were weak in? From what I understand the test will not get harder depending on how many times you take it, they ask because I believe there is a cap on how many time you can take it in X amount of time, or maybe ever, I'm really unsure on that.

    Hoping you are able to prepare and kick butt this time around!

    How do you not know what to expect when you have already taken the same test before?

    It's probably not going to be all the exact same questions but you can expect questions related to the ones you have already seen.

    I was in the same boat as you ... First time I didn't use ati book to study and I feel ati book helped tremendously the second time around!!! pretty similar story as yourself... Math was the hardest for me. When I took it the second time I did much better... I took mine at Csueb in Oakland area and it was really similar to the first one.. Even had some of the same questions. I focused heavily on what they recommended. You can do it

    Second time I did much better. The test was similar. I went to Csueb in Oakland. I heard the paper version was easier... .. I also rented the actual ati book an feel it was similar to test and helped me a lot. Good luck and don't stress.

    The test is different each time you take it. I found that the math was harder. All i can say for the science is know meiosis and mitosis. know DNA, know about kinetic and potential energy. Know about evaporation, condensation, ect. They will be there.
