Trust me.... Organ systems is not a major focus on the teas ( it's been years but I remember thinking .... That does this have todo with nursing when I took it".... Buy a study guide before trying to guess what's on it ..... But it's a basic knowledge test
The TEAS consists of 4 sections: scientific reasoning, human body science, earth and physical science and life science. Earth science only consists of 25% of the test and the ATI manual does have a focus on the organ systems in it's human body science. OP said that she hasn't taken AP2, which mostly focuses on the organ systems.
I took the Teas before taking micro. The micro on the Teas are very basic stuff. I read a tiny basic book on intro to micro and I was okay with that. A&P2 was mainly covered in the official TEAs guide. The only topic that tripped me up was the earth sciences and one chemistry question. Still, I got 89% on science. It was easier than expected actually. Study the stuff in the official guide (memorize it all) and if there's some topic in there that you don't quite understand, go to outside resources. Google is great imo.
I think you should be fine. There is going to be alot of math on there so definitely spend a good amount of time on that. I dont remember seeing any microbio on the teas. It was mostly middle/high school science like earth science. Since you took AP1 you should be fine in that area. I would say review and spend a lot of time on chemistry though...

Hey guys. I am scheduled to take the teas test on february 16th, and I have completed all the required pre-reqs for my schools program except for A&P 2, Micro and math. I will be taking A&P 2 and math this upcoming spring and then micro this summer. I made an A in my A&P 1 class that I took this past fall, but I am worried that I am going to need to know a lot of material from A&P 2 and Micro.. I have the ATI study guide, but I'm still not confident (about the science portion of the test) that I will know enough to score high on the test. So my question is.. did any of you take and score well on the teas prior to completing all the science courses? Also, I would be super thankful for any suggestions, such as study guides that I can purchase to aid me in preparing. Thanks in advance!
