What does it mean exactly? I have a doctor that keeps insisting its ok to mix ketorolac and phenergan in a single syringe for an IM injection but my davis guide states Syringe Incompatibility:trout:

It means they cannot be given via the same syringe, they most likely precipitate off each other and form solid particles.
Go by the drug guide.

If the physician is so adamant that they are compatible. Allow him or her to mix the medication and administer it.

If this is a recurring issue, bring to pharmacy's attention for their input and approval. Otherwise follow drug guide.

I don't think I have ever mixed Toradol with anything! If it's 30mg or less, we usually give it IV anyways...

We mix Fortwin and Phenergan as one IM dose, but I don't know about Toradol. You can give Toradol IV with very few side effects.
