hi, thanks for all the info that you provide.

I was wondering if you could answer my question please. I live in scotland uk,am adult nurse student with a future aim of being a nurse in usa. Alot of usa nursing agencies advertise here and they say that if you have one year experience in acute care then it is fine. You could apply with them. Was just wondering, does that mean that, I dont need alll the other 40hours classes of child nursing and mental health nursing classes? please help.

Is it only the middle name that is incorrect?

Have you contacted CGFNS in Philadelphia about this? You received it in March, and what have you done about it since?

Yes only the middle initial. My middle initial there was when i was still single the problem is i mailed the certificate back to CGFNS by mail and eversince i always emailed them regarding this matter but still no luck and were losing hope .

Did you make a copy of it before you sent it in?

Do you know if they ever received the certificate? Do you have proof that they did? How did you send it? By courier service or regualr air mail?

Thats 1 of our problem we dont have a copy and we have no way on knowing wether they have accepted it or not we have the EMS number of the letter its courier i think is there any way that we could do to resolve this problem?

Rule 1: Never send any type of document like that without having a copy made beforehand.

Rule 2: Always use a courier service.

Have you tried phoning to their customer service office in Philadelphia? Exactly what have you done?

1. If you contact your courier service, they can probably give you the number for tracking................of course this depends on which service that you used.

2. Have you looked at CGFNS website? There are other numbers there for customer service, if you need to go to the administrative listing section and get the number for customer service from there.

3. Did you ever contact CGFNS before you returned the original certificate?

Please let this be a warning to everyone else: DO NOT SEND OFF ANY TYPE OF PAPERS WITHOUT FIRST HAVING MADE A COPY OF THEM

If you sent via courier service, they gave you a tracking number. With that you can find out exactly which date the envelope was received and who signed for it. They you can follow from there.

Just so you know that certificate with the incorrect middle name would have been okay for you to use, remember the name isn't actually wrong because you got married, it just is using your "other" middle name, but that would have been proof enough for the US Embassy. Even if you would have made a copy you would have been okay.
