The exam mode or study mode will help retain the information with Saunders? Any suggestions

There's a 4th edition Saunders book out now. Do I need to get that to do Suzanne's plan or is the third edition ok? The 4th edition came out October 2007 and the 3rd edition came out Feb 2006 so it isn't really that old. A friend of mine is willing to lend me her 3rd edition so if I can save some money I'd like to just use that.

4th edition hasn't been released yet til next month. I would use the 3rd edition as Suzanne has her plan to match it (I am assuming).

This may be a stupid question but I am looking to follow Suzanne's Plan. I looked up the information on her sticky and she says to contact her by pm only....what does pm mean????

I just took the exam for the 2nd time and I failed again. I really don't know what else to do so I figure I'd give Suzanne's Plan a shot.

Thanks!

hey this is kinah, the PM means Personal Message. hope this help you out. i am going to try the plan too! but the only thing that is on my mind is i have the book already its a older version from nursing college. So, should i go buy the updated version or what?? or just go over the same old book? Help??:uhoh21: plus my test date is coming real soon... and she said at least 2 months for prep., i didn't fail my last test they (Pearson Vue) lost it!!!

If you are looking at the plan then you will need 3rd edition. If your date is really soon then you will not be able to complete the plan, if you really want to follow it may be worth delaying your exam. The decision is really up to you, Good luck

i thought this thread is about people's feedback after passing the nclex using suzannes plan:uhoh21:..questions about where suzannes plan can be located are the main issue here...can we stick to the 1st message of this thread..."she wants to hear the stories of people who passed the nclex after using suzannes plan"

Thank you.

I've just finished Suzanne's 1st tip and I PM her today. When should I expect her to reposnd? I know she emails in batches every 2 weeks. Is there a specific week when she does this? (i.e first week of the month and last week of the month?) thanks!

You need to follow exactly what it says in the thread New revised first tip. You need Saunders NCLEX comprehensive book and follow the 1-3 steps. https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/new-revised-first-tip-suzannes-plan-195774.html only once you have completed the revision as set down do you send Suzanne a pm You need to make sure you have enough time to complete it all before your exam If you meet requirements Suzanne will send you the plan which is covered by copyright laws so please respect her wishes

I just completed Suzanne's plan and will be taking the RN NCLEX exam tomorrow! I'm so nervous!

I'll be sure to post my exam results here on Friday...I hope its good news!
