Suny Downstate accelerated Program 2015-2016

Ok thanks for your response... I had a deposit link so I guess I got accepted... I didn't get a letter or email yet but I also had a great gps and I have a masters already...

I was still missing the 2 soc/anthro electives when I got accepted. I kept submitting different course descriptions since I went to a nontraditional college, and they finally accepted one for anthropology. SUNY admissions told me I could take the Intro to Sociology CLEP to fulfill one of the electives, which I just did.

I used sociology Clep as well, and also 3 other cleps/excelsior exams... That's the maximum... I never took math or statistics I just used tests

My checklist is blank. I have been emailing back and forth with admissions. Seems that they have received a majority of what they need. Is anybody else's check list blank? I literally have nothing on my check list but my "SUNY DOWNSTATE PROCESSING FEE"

You have to go on your original application where you uploaded all the stuff. there is a link there.

I don't see the place to accept this either. Can you be more specific?

I feel really silly, but I can't seem to find the Facebook group-- is it hidden or by invitation? I just found out that I got in to the program and I want to join!

If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA/ TEAS scores?

How did you first find out about your acceptance? email, regular mail, checklist update, on application site?

I did type exactly those words on Facebook. How weird. I guess I am just an internet idiot. Oh well, I will meet everyone eventually!

As for finding out about my acceptance, RN77123, I got an email from admissions that brought me to the initial application and a link on that page. The email itself did not indicate whether or not I had been accepted. I hope that helps! And on the TEAS I scored: Reading- 100, Math- 90, Science- 83.3, English 96.7. Overall undergrad GPA- 3.9, pre-req GPA lower than that, but I don't think much. I don't know off the top of my head. I hope that helps.
