Jmaye15 I have to take Microeconomics this summer. I'm trying to find out what the difference is between micro and macro Econ. It is a prerequisite for the college I'm applying to and they don't specify the two. Now you're scaring me microecon was tougher than stats?? Yikes!!!

I'm taking the exact same classes. When does your summer semester start?

I'm taking a few classes in the summer as well so that I can be up to par to apply for the nursing program for the fall next year. :) I was at one school but was like "school is lame" but after being out for a couple of months and just working I CAN'T WAIT FOR SCHOOL!!!! :bookworm: lol

This is irrelevant but i made great grades in high school but i hated school. Now that I'm in college i have a higher appreciation and wished i wouldve had that appreciation in high school. I will raise my son hopefully to have that appreciation.

I want to take A&P II and Microbiology this summer. I would've liked to take a language course but I'm pretty sure these 2 courses will keep me swamped! This is my first semester doing pre-reqs and I really want to get them over with quickly.

My prerequisites are going faster than i expected. I'm almost done with my second semester. I try not to think it would be a.total of 3 years of school.

Nurse2b7337, I had to ask my best friend who is a finance major the same thing about the difference. The best way to put it is that Macro is the bigger picture, and micro is more detailed economics. I really don't understand why we are required to have it for nursing. Lol and my teacher said the same thing. But I chose micro because the teacher was supposed to be a little better then the macro teacher and we ended up getting a whole new teacher. And the reason I say it's hard is because considering I'm not a business or finance major all the terms in micro are like a whole new language to me and my grade is based only off of test. No homework no assignments just 4 test. Talk about the pressure. Haha But I would suggest taking macro instead of micro and make sure you can get a pretty good teacher. You can do it though!
