Stupid question...

Published

A lot of people here found out they passed thru the BON before having to pay for the quick results. How do you do that? I found my states BON website but there's no link for it.

I know, I can find out tomorrow on PV... I'm just anxious! Still skeptical of PVT. :/

My BON has a tab on the left hand side that says "license verification" and it takes you to a page that has a place for you to type in your name

Log into your pearson vue account and depending on your state it should give you the option to pay for your quick results. Some States don't participate in the quick result service though.

Sorry, didn't read the question correctly. Just saw that you're trying to find out without paying. Nevermind.

Ha! That's OK. :)

Its not that I don't want to pay..I just don't want to wait until tomorrow. But I guess patience is a virtue ;)

My BON has a link for license verification but you have to type in the license number. It doesn't give an option for a name to be typed in. Oh well...just anxious I guess.

What is this pvt you guys are talking about

What state?

Iowa.

Wat is this pvt u guys are talking about

The Pearson Vue Trick. If you try to register again after you take NCLEX, you can find out if you passed or not by getting a pop up saying that you can't register at this time. If it takes you to the credit card page to pay for another exam, you've failed.

Every state is different. Some states you can search for licenses by name, it doesn't appear you can in Iowa. Even in states where you can verify by name, it's rare for your name to be listed within a day.
