Studying for NCLEX

Hi I am brand new to allnurses.com

I graduated in December and I am scheduled to take NCLEX on Feb 4. I will be doing the sylvia Rayfield review through my employer. If anybody has any feedback on this review I would really appreciate it. I was hoping for Kaplan or Hurst but this is what they are providing. Secondly can anybody help me find out how to do Suzanne's plan for NCLEX. I see to look for a sticky note but I have not been able to find it.

Thank you so much for any and all help!

Nalene,

I can relate to what you are going through. I lost my father and my grandfather as well. My father in 08 and my grandfather in 09. You have to just do the best that you can do. I had to put my grief aside to just make it through Hesi and graduate. I felt as if I could not do that, but I did. Now that school is over, I have had entirely too much time on my hands to think about past memories and regrets.

Take it from me, I am on my second attempt and I had to learn the hard way. If your father was like mine, he was supportive and would want you to continue with your goals and pass this exam with flying colors. Just take a deep breath and focus on reading your materials and answering your questions as best as you can. Read all of the rationales and don't worry about how much you haven't covered. You sound as if you have a grasp on what it is that you need to do. Continue to cover your weak areas for that is the key. You are ahead of a lot of us that are still trying to figure out where we are weakest at. Keep the faith and stay positive. I will keep you in my prayers. We will prevail.

Congratulations ssnodg1!!!
