Hello!I'm a registered nurse but i'm currently working as a call center agent in Manila.Last March 2009,i took my NCLEX-RN exam but i failed probably because of some problems here at home. Now,I filed my application to Vermont Board of Nursing and they approved my application yesterday. The reason I posted a new thread is because i need help to those who are working and currently reviewing for their nclex.how do you manage your time in studying while you are working?Same also that i need help to those who passed nclex and were in my situation before, meaning reviewing while working.

It's hard working and at the same time reviewing. It will be good to put off some time to just study. With you being a call center agent, I dunno know what your hours are, but if you have time or during your days off, take time to study and answer at least 100 questions a day. All you need is some Time Management 101.
Good Luck! I'm applying for VT too. This will also be my 2nd attempt to beat the NCLEX. Do you already have your ATT?

I worked and studied and did 2 hours a day answering questions and reading the rationale. On days I wasn't working I was able to do 4 hours of study. No more than that and found plenty of time to relax afterwards and gave my brain chance to absorb what I had been learning

What I did on the days I was working was the following:
1. I got up 30 mins earlier and studied
2. I would study during all of my breaks at work.
3. I would study 30-45 mins before I picked up my son from day care.
4. If I wasn't too tired I would study another 30-45 mins.
5. I would make every minute count. When I had to go potty I would even take my note cards with me there.
6. On my days off I would study as long as I could take it.
I hope this helps. You can do it!
