to study or unwind before NCLEX?

Is it okay to relax and unwind two days prior to my scheduled exam, or is it better to study, read more and just use the remaining hours for review until test date? What do you guys think?Any advice? Thanks :)

review 2 days before, and unwind a day after...pray.. good luck hope ull nail it

i just took the nclex rn last monday ..everybody is different your the only one can tell if you think it would help if you unwind 2 days before your test or use the remaining time studying for me i used all my time to studying even the last day . it works for me . the only thing i can advice is try to get some good sleep and nopt to eat a lot for breakfast because you dont want use your energy trying to digest your food . and before you start your test pray ...pray and pray that god will guide you all the way..." trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not into your understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path" Good Luck to you...

Most advise to relax a day or two prior to the exam. Good time to practice your relaxation techniques, which will come in handy the day of the exam.

I would study one of the two days before, and relax the others. I studied until my husband and I got to the hotel we were staying at in the town where I was taking the NCLEX, then I stopped and relaxed, went out to dinner, and had a drink before bed. Passed with 75 questions!

congratulations! i just took the kaplan readiness test this morning and got a 62%,testing on monday..still going over the questions.. :)

i relaxed 2 days before the exam to give my brain a chance to "rest"...my motto was "if u dont know it at this time...u simply dont know it"...of course i stil wanted to study more...but i relaxed 2 days b4 the exam....i felt there was nothing more entering my brain....

but for nursing school tests...i studided till the last minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take the 2 days to unwind. At that point you either know it or you don't. You want your brain refreshed. I didn't do anything the day before. I did 2 days before because I only had 1 1/2 days to prepare. But the day before I shopped and watched movies.

just relax..best of luck on monday. If u have studied hard before hand, NOT studying for 2 days wont make a difference in my opinion...just practice relaxation techniques + trust YOUR ABILITIES...YOU CAN DO IT...let us know how it goes .....
