What's the best study material out there as far as books go?
Thanks!

Kaplan is excellent because it gives complete directives on how to approach each and every test question, so that you'll be able to arrive at the correct answers. Kaplan arms you with information on how the NCLEX is structured, scored, and gives you ways to pass the exam. They even have a money-back guarantee. If you use their book and fail, they'll refund your money.
Many people on this site love Saunders. I thought it was okay for test practice, but valuable for material review.

My suggestion is to go to the bookstore and take a peek at all of the comprehensive review books and see what appeals to your eye. I used Saunders during school, and while it was helpful during classes, I found it to be overwhelming for state boards because it was as heavy as my textbooks and there are rows and rows of just words that eventually bogged me down (they do have diagrams, though). I eventually settled for Delmar's Comprehensive Review and used many resources for CDs in order to practice different styled questions. I liked Delmar's because they had plenty of pictures and space for me to add my own notes on the side.
