Are you a student doctor or a student nurse? Nurses do not treat medical diseases. There is a difference on how I would answer that based on your answer. If you are a student nurse, you do not devise interventions for the arthritis, but for the patient's response to the arthritis. To do that you need to tell us what assessment information you obtained. Your assessment of the patient includes:

  • collecting data from medical record
  • doing a physical assessment of the patient
  • assessing ADL's
  • looking up information about your patient's medical diseases/conditions to learn about the signs and symptoms and pathophysiology

You need to make a list of the patient's signs and symptoms because those are what you develop nursing interventions for.
