Stuck in LTC

Does anyone else seem "stuck" working in LTC? Jus a question.......

    I felt that way for quite some time and then lo and behold I found myself getting fired from what I'm fairly sure will be my last LTC job ever. I kinda "fell" into home health nursing and couldn't be happier. If you don't like LTC nursing, there IS something out there for you.

    I am not, I just started a few months ago but I have heard nurses grumble about it. I think there is just a different skill set to work in LTC vs hospital vs home care. If you stay in one too long, it may be difficult to get into another area.
