I have always loved OB! I am struggling with content :-( I have been at the top of my class till now. I barely passed my last exam! I have no one to blame but myself. I recently cut back on working so I hope that helps. I feel like i read and understand all the material but then test came and it blew me away! I have been studying everyday and practicing nclex style questions in hopes i will retain everything. Any advice? I am in my 3rd semester one more semester till i graduate. I want to be an L&D nurse. I dont understand why i am struggling most with something i want to do with every bone in my body!

Similar question - what types of questions did you miss on the test? Was it prioritizing care? Specific questions about newborn/fetal vital signs?

Some generic advice is to make sure you read everything that is assigned, but it sounds like you are doing that already...
Story of my life is i get really complex questions right! I get simple basic questions wrong! I got all Efm questions right, as well as pp assess and newborn assess, but basic questions like G&P i got wrong. I think its how the questions are worded? The question didnt out right say woman was pregers just that she was in office and G&p tpal were.... Got it wrong because she was pregnant in office. I get prioritizing questions right I am usually really good with those. One question said pick the statement that is correct about placenta and umbilical cord : 5
Choices- i narrowed down to: umbilical cord has two arteries and one vein, or placenta uses 3 types of diffusion? I picked umbilical cord answer because placenta uses 4 types of diffusion according to our maternal nursing book
