OMG,
My friend just started her new job, and is on orientation for 2 more weeks, and someone stole the $80 stethescope I gave her when we graduated!
I can't believe it, it was such a nice littman stethescope. I wanted to get her a new one (she is my bff) but want to get her another cheap one from the web. Anyone know a good site where I can get her a new one?
a cheap and safe site.
thanks!

Our instructer informed us to leave our stethoscopes in our vehicles till needed at school and after that make sure you never leave it. I don't think I have ever been so protective with anything other than my kids. I have been doing clinicals for the last two days in a nursing home and I was looking at the ankle alarms they put on the dementia residents and began to wonder if that would work for my stethoscope! lol!
no body answered my post :0( I wanted to know if anyone knows a good site where I could get a stethescope.
i try to help anyone I can with the nclex, but no-one helps me :0(
I did...allheart.com, see in my post? Everyone is so busy this time of the yr and if you did a quick search you would find lots of info that has already been asked many, many times. Please don't be down, people care, just may have not seen your post. while your waiting, just search around in the thousands of threads. That is what I did when I went looking for one! Good luck!

i would definately try e-bay.
dont ever put your stethoscope down at work unless your name is engraved all over it and you can easily recognize who took it.
i was working a code once in the ICU, and the respiratory therapist asked to borrow my stethoscope to check breath sounds. i was so caught up i didnt pay attention to her walking off with it! but luckily, my stethoscope is bright green, and in the middle is a engraved tag that says "ALLISON, EMT-P". when i confronted her, there was nooo way she could tell me the stethoscope around her neck wasnt mine!
