Based on what I know, the state that eliminates the unnecessary study inside a Uni is Queensland (Queensland Nursing Council) and reduces the cost of your registration process. You can Fast Track your Registration process by taking the challenge test A & B.When you pass this exam you will be eligble for registration in the state of Queensland as division 1 nurse.

If you dont mind me asking, Are you in Australia now or here in the Phil.? Anyway, before you try to look for an Employer you will need to be Registered as an RN first. If you would like to start with the ANMC you can by the way. But its a long process. This process is done if you want to nominate your skill for migration. The ANMC does the assessments so that you can show DIAC that you have qualified with their min. requirements for the general skilled migration process.

You have to apply to the province and they will assess whether you need to do a bridging course before they will allow you to be registered as a RN. There is no quick way and can be looking at anything from 8-12 months to go through the process as a rough guide, may take longer but will depend on the province

There is already a lot of information available on this forum about registering as an RN in Australia.

You need to decide which state you want to work and then apply through that State's Nursing and Midwives Board. Each Board has a website and all the information you need including process, English requirements and cost.

Internationally trained RNs are all different so the NMBs are always your first port of call when asking about registration.

Well, liked I've said you can Fast Track your Registration thru QNC's competency assessment service (CAS). When you pass the QNC challenge exam you will be eligible for registration.No need for you to do any bridging program. If successful in part A (achieve an 80 percent pass grade in all four sections of the exam), the applicant may proceed to part B, the clinical competence assessment. If unsuccessful in any or all of the four components of the challenge test part A, the applicant will be directed to the relevant modules of the nursing education program. Information about the challenge test for nursing can be accessed from the CAS website - http://www.cas.cqu.edu.au

Whether you have chosen to enrol in one of the education programs of Queensland or even the CAS challenge test will depend on whether you believe you are immediately ready to demonstrate competence for practice. You are required to demonstrate competence at a BEGINNING practitioner level, as described in the ANMC competency standards. Your knowledge and clinical skills need to demonstrate that you are a safe practitioner in the conemporary health care setting.
