State CNA test

So, I took the test on the 20th of Nov, so last Saturday, written was fine and easy, I'm sure I passed that

Skills part I think I did okay on, my instructor told me the only thing I didn't do was put soap on the rag for footcare, and dry out the water basin

I seem to have forgotten the most simple steps lol

Would they fail me for that?

Was supposed to have my score report back on Friday, but its still not here, and I'm getting really anxious lol

In North Carolina btw, got dropped from my CNA course because my FBI background check never made it back on time, so I challenged the state board for the test

I am from North Carolina and I take that same exam on Dec. 11th. I know when we were in class they gave us a book and our instructor said that if we missed any of the procedures that were in bold print in that book (from Pearson Vue) then we automatically fail. Hope that helps. Hope you made it.

I'd just give the testing center a call and ask if it has been mailed.

When I took mine (Washington State), we immediately got our pass/fail score.

We had to wait an hour or so but we also got our scores right away (PA). Typically each step on each skill is worth so much and depending on which ones you miss you don't automatically fail. It's kind of hard to tell in your case.

I'm in NC too. Back when I challenged the CNA test, I got the results back that day. I don't remember all of the fail points. I know that drying out the wash basin isn't a fail, not sure about the not using soap though. You can get that CNA test booklet in PDF format online, it will tell you. Otherwise, just look online at the registry for your name...

They should have told you right then. When I took it, they faxed the written test to Raleigh and had it back to us before the skills portion, then told us right after if we passed.

We were supposed to have ours faxed off, but Pearson Vue couldn't get their fax machine up and running, which really irritated me, so we ended up having to mail ours off, and we were told they would be back Friday, but no luck... called them earlier and they said they only just mailed it yesterday on Monday -_-
