Hi everyone, am getting nervous about starting the FNP for 7/7/14. Hope I can get more people who are starting in 7/7 to keep this post going for support.

Hello,
I am living in Texas and applying to UTA and Chamberlain. How do you find the program?
Hey guys!
Sorry I have been MIA, I am currently starting my 8th class (patho) on sunday march 2. I have doubled up 3 times cutting off 6 months of the program. It is doable, rigorous, and I have to admit I feel a burnt out but I know this is a normal feeling after taking double the coursework for 6 months with only a 2 week winter break. Maybe because I am also 8 months pregnant lol! (I started the program 7/7/14 and got preggo 7/14/14). Anyhow, papers have been 2-3 per class and average anywhere from 6-10 pages each. I am glad to only be focusing on 1 class now! PM me if I can be of any help! I live in Houston, TX by the way and I am in the process of setting up my preceptors and clinical sites now. I will start clinicals in september of this year! Graduation in June 2016!

Thanks for replying! Since its been over 6 months can you give an update? Thanks!
Everything is pretty much the same except now I am really honing in on obtaining clinical sites. They have clinical coordinators assigned to different geographical areas now to make the transition a bit easier, although they are still working out communication kinks. My coordinator is communicating very well with me though. I am in my first week of patho and am really enjoying it! What else would you like to know?
