I did:) Applying for Sacramento.

HESI 93.6

Science 4.0 (But my Chem was 30 years ago:)

60 cum I think around 3.7

Have volunteer hours as medic for youth and in search and rescue. Do not have any in a clinical setting.

I just looked at my application and realized that one of my transcripts wasn't received. Credential Solutions sent it on May 28th!!! I'm not sure which one to follow up with or if I just try sending it again. Will call NursingCas Monday. Does anyone know the time allotted for the application to become verified?

I applied for Sacramento and then San Mateo.

Last 60: 3.67, but I need to fix a transcript with one class, they might see it as lower.

Science: 3.62 with microbiology planned for Fall

HESI 89%

120 volunteer clinical hours and lots of volunteer hours in various areas of interest.

Good luck everyone! just around 7 more weeks of waiting to go.

Hi everyone!

I applied to Sac for Fall 2020 as well. This will be my first time applying. I had not heard anything about them extending the application deadline either. I had a mess with official transcripts being sent to the wrong address and just had my application "verified" on Friday.

Hey guys,

I see people talking about waitlists. I haven't received any email yet since I submitted. Should I be worried?

I can’t imagine anyone being told they’re on the waitlist already. Maybe that their application has been verified?

The waitlist we are talking about was from last application cycle. We won’t hear anything back from SMU this application cycle until November I believe!

Hey y'all. Back at it again! I hope everyone's summer is/ has been nice. Let's get to the info everyone is interested in..

STATS:

3.29 - "science gpa" (A/P, micro, chem)
3.56 - Last 60 units:
3.43 - Overall undergrad GPA
All prereqs complete.

HESI : 98% (eng 98, sci 96, math 98)

3 LOR: 2 from bosses in healthcare field, 1 from A/P prof.

200+ volunteer hours between hospitals and various community activities.
5 years of hands on patient care experience in the field.

For reference, I applied for Fall 2019 with the above stats minus 1 letter from A/P prof and science gpa was 3.18. I was placed 46th on the waitlist. With any luck, maybe I'll get a better spot on the waitlist!!

Good luck to everyone applying!!

If you submit grade updates to NursingCAS, does it not update your GPA on your application?

Hi everyone!

I received my first SMU email yesterday saying that my application has gone through the preliminary review. It’s exciting to know the process is beginning. ☺️

Wishing all of us success this round.
