2020 Spring SMU ABSN program

I checked out the Admitted Student Portal, but I believe it’s an account meant for students who ONLY got accepted. The banner says congratulations, but that’s because it’s for “ADMITTED” (past tense) students. Anyone can sign up. So I think we still have to wait on the email.

From the website, you can go to checklist and it will tell you the status of your application.

I received my email at 7:11am, followed by a financial aid email and one from IT.

Just submitted my letter if intent and paid my fee!! Congratulations to those have also also been admitted! Also, anyone who’s been accepted into Sacramento want to start a Facebook page for us ? I would but I’m not very skilled on how to do that ! Lol

@T.TNurse don’t lose hope. I think I posted a few pages back that last year they rolled out the acceptances, followed by the waitlists and denials and then it was followed by another round of acceptances. That third round either were accepted or had VERY low waitlist numbers and many were accepted into the program as people turned down their spot. So don’t lose hope.

And for those of you who don’t get in, keep trying. This was my third time and I worked SO hard to continually update and improve my application. It really does make a difference for them to see the determination, grit, and perseverance. I started this journey with a low GPA and not a lot of hope I’d ever get in. If you’re determined and you’re willing to work for it, they will notice. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear. ?❤️

If you log in using your NursingCAS email and password, then click on Checklist, you’ll see a page that shows your current and past applications and their status. Anyone with an application can log in and see it.

Yes! This was my second time applying! For those who get waitlisted , I know what you must be feeling. But like @MamaKat916 said keep trying and pushing ! Your grit and tenacity will not fail you !
