That sucks. Ik how that feels, like a huge problem you can't solve. I got accepted into my local community college in buffalo.

Yes, I will be going for that. I can't wait, I'm excited and nervous. I just want to start.

But while your waiting you should get a physical done and a PPD test, have titers drawn to see if your immune. And make sure your immunization record is up to date.so once you get that acceptance letter you'll be all set, you'll just have to apply for classes.

What school did you apply to and where? What was the admission requirements?

I apply to Mcneese state university, is in Louisiana. I'm going for my BSN, I got my AA. I have all that done , I have my cpr as well. In my school you have to have all that submitted with the application ( yeah I know it's weird).We have to pass the hesi exam with 80 or higher.

How did your interview go? Hopefully you have a good feeling about it and you can ride on those feelings while you wait. Did you have an interview that included jokes, laughing, or encouraging comments made by your interviewers? It's obvious that you're enthusiastic; did you feel that you showed it?

My program interviewed me on their last day for interviews. I interviewed on October 31st, and I got my acceptance letter last Friday - so I only waited a couple of days. The program starts January 13th. I feel extremely lucky.

Now, I'm worried about studying for a dosing calculations calculation test. More immediate than that, though, is my issue with the Hep B vaccine -because it takes 6 months to complete the rounds of it. I've got to make a phone call and see if being in the middle of the vaccination process is OK.

Did any of you (who already completed their vaccines) encounter an issue with the Hep-B vax? Surely I'll be fine... but, bleh.

In my school they don't have interviews , we just have to take the hesi exam and see if we get accepted or not, they are sending out the acceptance/denial letters next month so I'm waiting patiently. I'm sure if you provide documentation that your receiving your vaccine , then it shouldn't be a problem.
