Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

Happy Holidays,

Did anyone at the medical campus receive a syllabus for any of the professors? I recall during the Generic full-time orientation one the professors saying that they would be sending us a syllabus prior to the winter break.

Not as of yet but prior posts from other terms have said Fundies will ask for at least 7-8 chapters to be read.

I have a question for you. I just moved to Miami I am a cna and want to become a lpn. Was is the duration at mdc?

does financial aid cover all of it if you an AA from MDC already and now doing the ADN program? please

If you already have a Bachelors, then no. But you can still apply for loans as long as you haven't reached the maximum amount you can borrow with I believe is 50k.

Apply just to make sure, but I believe it should cover it all

The key is a Bachelors degree. If you don't have a Bachelors I believe you can continue. Its just if you pass a certain number of credits. But you can always look that up. I would recommend you contact them. But I found this website that may help!

I am currently at Broward college in process two but Broward is a mess and i want to go to MDC especially because they offer part time how is it compared to Broward college how was the transition could i get your email to ask a few things

I am currently in my 2nd semester at MDC in psych now. However, I received my acceptance letter on Nov 29th 2016.

It was torture waiting for that email since i had applied in June 2016. I started in January and no looking back since. The professors are amazing use rate my professors.com of course and hope for the best. Get uniforms from blue angels across from the medical campus WWAAAY cheaper! Start reading Perry and Potter fundamentals chapter 1-6 to get ahead. You can do it!!! Also apply for the mdc scholarship on the school website very easy- small essay and bio info asked. I received a $450 scholarship for spring and a $800 for summer!!! Thank God.

I spoke to an advisor for my friend who wanted to transition to MDc. Problem was that they don't take any of he Nursing classes you took from BCC. You would need to start from scratch.

Talk to an advisor just to make sure but that's what they told me two weeks ago. Good luck!

Process two hasn't even started so i would just need to repeat process one hopefully they accept pharmacology since that can be taken separate even at another school and it's not necessarily part of the program. Did you actually transfer from Broward college if so do you feel MDC is better I'm sure it's still tough but Broward is really severe i mean I'm surviving barely but i need part time
