Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

i went to the coral gables location and the great part about them is if you show up early theyll take you as long as theyre not packed. make sure to take your license and that paper they sent in the confirmation email. JUST fingerprints then the sides of the prints on a machine and thats it. when youre all set the school will send you an email saying that its ready to be picked up. they make you sign for it and then you upload it to complio :D

how convenient. I made my appt with the coral gables location as well. cant wait to get done with everything !

Online courses....

I thought I wasn't going to be able to apply bc I'm taking sociology and micro lab this semester and the advisor told me that I needed them done already. Good to know the deadline is December! I would try seeing if any online courses are available for term B!

I wonder if getting the baptist scholarship saves you a spot in the RN-BSN program...? As long as you maintain your GPA in the ASN program and become a nurse of course.

They didn't accept my cpr card :( ughh I don't wanna waste even more money on a class. I wish I could take it on Saturday but I work :/

I'm going to the free CPR class tomorrow, lets hope they accept that one

On the American Heart Association website, is it the Heartcode for BLS online and then the skills session separate?

There is another free class on Nov. 4.

Hi everyone! I am so excited!!! I got accepted to the nursing program!! I need help though! I applied to both the accelerated and generic full term and was accepted to both and I'm not sure which one to accept. A brief history:

I have been a veterinary technician for 20 years and I do everything: catheters, bloodwork, radiology, dentals, surgery, drug dosages...everything. I know the accelerated program is intense and will be difficult but I'm hoping my 20 years experience in the veterinary world will make it a little less difficult...? I also have my bachelors in psychology and an associate in biology. Last thing, I am fortunate enough to not have to pay rent so will be quitting Work completely once I begin the nursing program and will be able to give school 100% of my time and energy.

So my question to everyone here is which program should I apply for???!! I'm really stressing out about the decision after reading other posts about the accelerated program!! Thanks to everyone in advance!
