Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

Same for me. I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket but all the other schools I looked into wanted the microbiology lab and I'm taking it now so I have a lot riding on this acceptance letter.

Anyone know the approximate cost of the program including classes, books, uniforms, and etc.? I will be coming out of pocket as well 😩

I know to get your asn is in the ball park of 8k so considering you've applied, I'd say half that. So around 4k for just tuition and then 1-2k in books and supplies depending on how crazy you get.

I was thinking to take out 10k in loans but now I'm realizing that might be too much. Especially since i do have some money saved. For those that are goin to take out loans are you going to just take out one big loan in the beginning or do it every semester? I think taking out 6k will be enough for the whole year.

Hi everyone! I'm super late to join but I've been keeping up on the Facebook pages for mdc spring 18 applicants. I applied for accelerated and FT generic. I also applied to Broward. My GPA is 3.4 and I got a 95 in the Broward hesi and 93 on the Dade one. Lmk as soon as anyone hears back from MDC!!

I'm thinking about taking out new loans each semester, just so I don't go overboard.....

I don't have a Facebook any more so I can't see it. Is there a lot of people on there for spring 2018?

I can't tell because it combined the applicants from 17 and 18

I hope this helps. My friend did the bridge option at MDC. He broke down this 3 semesters into 1,500 for the first, 1,700 for the second, and 1,800 for the third semester so about 5 grand not including books and uniforms.

After bothering the advisement people I don't know how many times, they finally said letters should start going out next week. Good luck to everyone applying for Spring 2108

Lol hopefully they weren't just telling you that to get you off the phone. We survived the first week of October so just another week. Ahhhh I'm nervous now.

wonder if there's a price difference between the bridge option and FT or AO
