Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

I called and was told it will be mid October.

@Mskaty They don't send out rejection letters. There are three waves of acceptance. If someone doesn't get in during the first wave, there's still a chance of them getting in during the other two.

I just called and they told me end of October to beginning/middle of November. It better be by October bc I seriously can't wait till November.

I was told different. I don't understand why it would take that long. I know other schools take 3-4 weeks to send out letters.

Yes it does seem like Miami dade takes a longer time to send it out. I submitted my application in august and just been praying to get in ever since. If I keep myself busy the days seem to go by faster.

I just want to know if I got in or not so I can make necessary preparations with work etc... D': anyone else planning on working if he/she gets in?

I plan on working weekends. I have 2 jobs right now and I'm dropping my more demanding one came December. My friend who also hopes on getting in the program plans on keeping her current schedule and working Friday-Monday nights

Ugh I might need to find a weekend only job. Idk if my boss will be flexible with a school schedule. :/

I know, it's ridiculous. You'd think since it's just our GPA and HESI score, they'd be quick, but they actually take the longest. I can imagine if they did interviews and essays like NOVA, Barry, etc, we probably wouldn't hear back till December

I thought all schools send out rejection letters if you do not get in at the end. I hope they do mid October instead of the end. I don't plan to work. I wanted to work less hours but at my job the minimum is 20. Ill just focus all my energy on passing my classes and nclex. It'll suck that I'll be broke but it'll pay off.
