SPC Nursing Program Spring 2017

Not meaning it in a mean way im just hopeful to get in is all

DOes anyone know if you do not pass Level 1 with 80% - can you take it again without reapplying? I know someone who is very close but HAS to get an 80 on the final. Just trying to prepare in case he does not make it.....Thank you.

Hi, I know this may be a late reply since finals are almost done, but just in case anyone does come across this wanting to know, yes you do have to repeat the level if you don't get 80% or above total. Unfortunately I know quite a few people who didn't pass by even a point or two, and had to retake the whole class.

It depends on the teacher whether they round up for a 79.5% or not. You would have to ask directly.

You can go to NUHS on the SPC Health campus and get a physical for free. Call for an appointment.

You don't have to get 80%s on every test, but if you don't on one test you get an "action plan" which details what you're going to do different for the future. You do however have to get an 80% in the class to pass. Two fails in any classes, not necessarily consecutive, you're out of the program.

You wont automatically be put back in. You will be put into a lottery with other students who did not pass that level, and you may or may not get back in.

I literally just found out that I'm alternative number 2. Has anyone ever gotten in as an alternative?

Help I applied for spring 2018.. but I'm a alternate number 16!!! Does anyone know my chances of getting accepted as a alternative

I've heard stories of people getting in with alternates around 15, but every cycle is going to be different.

A few words of advice: read the ******* book, focus on acute interventions, and follow the rules (however stupid they are).
