SPC Fall 2019

Hey, everyone! I've been looking for a thread about fall applications for SPC Nursing program, but nothing yet! It may be early, since the application period just started on March 1st, but here we go! I applied as soon as it opened , and I'm crossing my fingers until the July 1st. Anyone else applied or planning to do it soon? Let me know your thoughts and plans, we are all together in this one ? .

No, I’m planning to reapply in the fall if I don’t get a spot. I had a 3.76 with 30/30 and they still gave me alternate 36

I've heard that it is a lottery system for alternates but I'm not sure how true that is.

You might call your advisor and just inquire on that. What did they say the averages were that were accepted ...

The average GPA accepted was 3.81 with 30/30 credits complete and it does say on the alternate letter that the number is not an indicator of admission potential.

I’m going to on Monday. I’ve heard of mistakes being made on applications before. I’m worried that courses I was told would be waived by my AA weren’t

Hi, how does your notification mail look like? I have a 4.0 gpa with 26/30 completed. And my email starts "Thank you for submitting your health program application to the Health Education Center. You have been approved to begin the admission process for the Associate in Science in Nursing Program beginning in the Fall 2019 Term. The academic requirements are only a portion of the admission criteria; you are responsible for the completion of the items below."

I'm not sure whether I got in or not :-s

It’s saying you got in, but you have to compete the drug and background check + all the other stuff to be 100% in
