SPC Fall 2019

Hey, everyone! I've been looking for a thread about fall applications for SPC Nursing program, but nothing yet! It may be early, since the application period just started on March 1st, but here we go! I applied as soon as it opened , and I'm crossing my fingers until the July 1st. Anyone else applied or planning to do it soon? Let me know your thoughts and plans, we are all together in this one ? .

Heads up, a little birdie told me that there will be a dosage calculation quiz the first few days of class. And a quiz on the first six to eight chapters of the fundamentals book. I'm sure the professor will teach dosages and give us a PowerPoint review of the chapters but it's good to have a heads up on what to expect the first week of class. This will give us something to do over the next couple weeks besides memorizing the handbook.

Thank you!!! If birdie says anything else, let us know!

Did anyone else get their reading assignments for the first 2 weeks of class?

Also, would anyone like to get together the 18th(Sunday) to review?

I got it! I’m excited to start reading! ???

Amber I cant attend class this semester. Something came up. Im disappointed but hoping I can start in January. Thank you for including me. if I was starting this semester I would want to be in your study group. Good luck to you and Ryan. You guys are going to do great. Lean on and support each other. Help each other succeed. That is the advice I have gotten from people in the program. I hope I see you guys at the VA next semester.

I’m so sorry you had to give up on this semester, and hope you will be back to school as soon as possible! We will all absolutely give you heads up and all the info you need, so when you start, you are already advancing. Good luck with everything!

Yes, I've spoken to 3 & 4 others who are as well.

I’ll be there too! I can’t believe we start in less than 2 weeks.

There was an email sent by instructors all together so it goes to all the Nursing I students. Check the my courses email. If you didn’t get it, shoot me your student email here and I’ll forward it to you

Yay glad others are going to the workshop so I won’t be there by myself. Is anyone that’s going in the LPN to RN transition program with me? If so, I’d love to meet up with you!

Andrea

I actually heard they take note of people who always go to these seminars and workshops, so I’ll always do my best to go, I hope a lot of us make it.
