I posted this in another discussion page but got no response and I'm in need of answers stat. I've been working on my resume and would like to finish it up as soon as I get the question answered. Pls. help. Thanks :)

Hello everyone, I would like to know what type of template I can use to make the perfect resume? I've found one I really like but I'm not sure if I can use this and it won't have any affect on the decision an employer makes?

This is the template I'm going to use >> http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...1033&av=ZWD000

Please tell me if it's ok to use this or should I just keep it simple and use no template at all??

And when u add the education section, do u only include the college u attended to complete the nursing or I can add my school from elementary, middle and high school as well?

sorry we have people at my school to help us with our resume. I do know that you should only put your high school diploma or GED, not where you went to elementary school or anything because if you graduated then you obviously went through the rest.

THank u. I will only add high school then. :)

Now I need someone to answer me about the template. If it's ok to use the one I choose?? Or I shouldn't add any template?

There are books on resumes at the library and in bookstores. I bought an inexpensive one that has many examples of healthcare resumes that only cost $16.95 plus tax. What I do, is to look at many examples from different sources and get ideas to choose from. Pick and choose from what looks good to you. You don't have to follow the template word for word, or section for section. You can combine parts of one template with another and take sentence examples from many sources.

Thanks silverdragon. I read through that link above but I didn't find anything about if I can use a template like the one I posted?? After reading through the link u provided, I feel like my resume needs a lot of work. I have to start all over with it and I thought I was done. :uhoh3:
