So is it?

I failed my boards on July 10th. I live in Massachusetts and there is the 45 day wait period. Is it 45 days from July 10th? I just recently made the phone call so I could reapply. The woman said I would have my ATT in 48 to 72 hours. So Im waiting for that.

I have been reading and reading the Saunders book and doing those questions. Also bought the question bank from Kaplan. Somebody had given me the question trainer from Kaplan and have been doing that.

I failed with 265 questions. My print out says I was close to passing in all but one area. Health maintenance and promotion was not even close. So I really have been focusing there.

It was very devastating when I found out. But I think I knew leaving it that I wasn' t comfortable. Just seeing FAIL was not in the plans. But I've picked up and moved on.

I also will be attending the retakers day with the review program I took.

So sorry to hear you didn't get past the Beast this time. But it sounds like you know what to do for the next go 'round! :)

Yes, it's 45 days from the date you last tested (all days, not just business days).

Specializes in Clinical exp in OB, psy, med-surg, peds.

I failed with 265 questions too, also all my areas was near passing, except infection control was below passing, I am now doing Kaplan, all the best.

Right now, I'm also in the "NCLEX funk". I failed at 176 questions. I was also "near passing" except for Health Promotion. It didn't take long to get another ATT to test again. I'm taking mine again next month. The first time I did a lot of questions, but they were too random. This time, I'm doing a complete review so that I will try not to have any more suprises next time.

Specializes in none, still looking.

Good luck, it sounds like you are on the right track, what is health promotion? Is that teaching questions?
