Skinny Envelope

Is not always a bad thing! I am so excited. Received my acceptance letter today. I have 3 co-reqs to finish up and have them scheduled for this spring/summer (patho, micro and human growth) and then I start in the actual nursing program Autumn 2010! I can barely contain myself. There were so many applicants and it has been 2 months since the application deadline.

Congratulations!! What school have you been accepted to?

I already told you in another thread but congrats again!

I am going to take my NURC 101 and 102 This summer and fall to apply for the Fall 2011 start. I hope that I can get in right away, because it would be perfect timing for me to get all of my Non-NURS clases out of the way before starting the program. Then I could concentrate 100% on just those classes.

Congrats!!!!!

I head out to the mailbox like a little kid every day waiting for my envelope (which is delayed because my school somehow lost 90 TEAS exams and had to allow those students to re-take....)

PSY240 is a total joke class - take it web based if you can. 360 total points in the class, 200 of which were at-home weekly quizzes (20 questions, 1 hour time limit), 40 points from two 2-3 page essays, and 20 points from discussion board posts. Add that up and you'll see that 100 points are split between the midterm and the final. Also, print out your weekly quizzes because a good 50-60% of the midterm and final questions were directly from the quizzes! (I had Amy Boland if you can see instructor names when you register)

Either way, congrats on being accepted! I start Spring quarter at CSCC and can't wait!
