Take a short break and get things back into perspective. I know it may feel like the end of the world (been there done that) but having a short break will do you some good. Then get into a study mode and even consider Suzanne's plan
Good luck next time

i failed my 1st attempt and now i feel so sad that i have to go back to square one all over again for my 2nd attempt......i feel dissapointed, depressed and uninspired to start.............sigh......i don't know how to overcome my procrastination....help.....me. my emotions are getting in the way........
I feel you Ira, we have the same situation though. Found out i failed last Friday (my first try too) but im better now coz I realized that I can't go back and correct it coz it's done. I know you did your best! As so many people here did their best and yet failed. But just a thought that it's not the end. We can still take the test again. Im planning to take mine again and used Suzannes plan once I got my evaluation form from my state. Im with you! Be positive and do your best again for the second try! As what I will do as well. Godbless!

When you train in another country, the pass rate for our exam is only about 44%. Many things are very different from what is done in your country as well as lab values, medications, and even some disease processes.
I would take sometime off from doing anything related to this exam and just relax and enjoy things. There is absolutely no reason to hurry in any case. If your mind is not set to prepare again, then you are not going to retain or remember what you need to know.
We also do not have any visas available at this time, so there is just no reason to be pushing yourself to prepare again if you are not ready.
Take a few weeks, or even better yet, until after the New Year and then get a fresh start on everything. It is always hard to start preparing during the holiday season and no reason that you need to start right now.
Best of luck to you.

Just take a little time to feel bad and then pick yourself up and start preparing for another try. You know that you will pass if you just keep at it and don't let yourself quit.

Sorry to hear you did not pass this time. Take a break and then prepare for the test again. Be sure to study as though you have not tested before. Consider trying Suzanne's Plan. ( details are in the stickies at the top of this forum ) Good luck. {{{ HUGS }}}:heartbeat
