Hi everyone....bear with me....lol
Ok...started this program 4 years ago as a paramedic to RN. Started with DSLII and paid my fees. Passed my first exam (psych) failed my second (Humanities:madface:) and am currently trying to do micro. Had a baby...took about 2 years off and am now ready to start again...I was thinking about doing the traditional nursing program. I can complete it in one year (its considered an accelerated nursing program). I'm concerned that I wont do it this time, either fail again or not have enough motivation...although my situation is now different (divorced and responsible for 2 little ones, so I now have a bit more drive to up my education/finances.)
What do you all think??? Thanks again!

Go for it. IMHO, I would start with the actual nursing exams, and leave the gen eds for the end. I think, getting into the thick of nursing education will make you realize the opportunity, and keep you motivated, the gen eds however are boring, and easy to give up one b/c their subject matter is not directly tied to the ultimate goal.
Good Luck!!!...

I agree with above post. Go for it! After several of years of " will I / won't I go from LVN to RN-BSN I've taken the steps, enrolled. Finally. I feel better allready just for making a decision. Good Luck!

Either way you go, make sure you just DO IT! Once you really get started, it's not as difficult to get/stay motivated. Good luck!!
