Here is my dilema. I graduated from Temple College LVN school in May of 2007. I would now like to get my RN. I moved back to Dallas after I graduated and I am considering going back to Temple for the RN program. If I decide Temple College then I will back there in January and finish taking preqs. I know there is also El Centro bridging but I am not sure of my odds of getting in. I still have to take a few more classes before I can apply to either but I am not sure of what to do. I know that El Centro will make me take the Hesi A2 and have 6months of med-surge(which I do not have at this time) and Temple College will not. I kinda got used to Temple College and never attended any classes at El Centro. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have a yes/no, black/white, El Centro/Temple answer for you, but I would suggest that you consider the atmosphere of each of the schools. It sounds like you're leaning towards going back to Temple. What are your reasons for considering El Centro? Have you visited the campus and the new building for the nursing school?

I am in my third semester of the RN program at Brookhaven College. I can highly recommend that. I did a paralegal degree at El Centro. I did not like the facilities, but that was when they were building all the new buildings

I'm in the RN program at El Centro. It's a tough program. In the end though, I think it really just matters what is important to you.
Are you concerned with how much driving you have to do to campus? The quality of the program? How "easy" is the program? Clinical sites?
Good luck, whatever you decide!
