Shoes???

Yeah Elizabells, my Danskos hurt the top of my foot at the end of the day like around 2 in the evening. I work 12 hr shifts 7-7. Maybe it's because our feet swell at the end of the day, I don't know

mine actually loosen up as the day goes on. I just bought a pair of burgundy with the back on them for causal wear - went out for hours last night, looked cute with jeans, no pain! i have awful big toe joints from ballet and my tootsies were happy.

Buy a duty shoe and be prepared for cost.

I work 4-5 12 hour shifts a week, and noticed that nearly everyone else on nights wore Nike Shox. I figured I'd give them a try, and I absolutely love them!! They are kind of pricey $65-100, but you can write them off on your taxes. They are the shoes that are built for runners, so they don't have seams inside the shoe to chafe your feet, and they fit like a glove while being very breathable. They usually have 4 rubber spring "columns" at the heel, and an airshock pad at the forefoot. I can stand on them all night, and my feet feel great. They also come in cool colors!

I also have a pair of Klogz for when I get called to the OR from NICU, and they are comfortable, but not as much as my Shox!!!!

are they sold at major department stores? I went to the website and they truly look comfortable to me.

I wish I was allowed to wear sneakers at my job because those Nike shox are comfortable. I have a pair that I use to hang out in and they are like walking on air.

I have to go with Danskos!!! I have three pairs. Ive noticed that when Im not working and im out and about with the kids wearing sneakers, my feet are killing me by the end of the day!!!
