Sharp New Grad Program Summer 2019

@Crojo1501 I heard all units and sharp locations interview differently. I just studied a lot of interview questions I found from previous forums as well as my hospital/unit specific. My interview was honestly really short and didn’t expect it but, just prep yourself well and be confident. Good luck, What unit are you interviewing for if you don’t mind me asking ?

@NurseGradSD Thanks for the advice. I will be interviewing with Sharp Chula Vista ED this month. My email says up to 10 people on the panel! Yikes! Trying to prepare as much as I can.

@Crojo1501 yeah just prepare as much as possible, following my interview I’m nervous right but we’ll have to see, good luck!

Apparently the new grad program in the ED at Grossmont has been called off. Received this info from a friend RN that works in this department. Not sure about the other units. Still waiting to hear back from 3E GI/GU at Grossmont.

Thank you! I am unsure if they have sent out all interview invites, a couple weeks ago I was asked to rank top three choices. But I have not heard about other units or memorial in general. No info on if all units sent out invites/interviewed or anything else ..

Thats somewhat reassuring ! Although, some have mentioned getting a med question in the interview before but, I didn’t get one so that’s why I’m worried.

In the past (I read the thread from previous years), they are going to send out reference request after the interview. I am just wondering have you received any thing like that?

@AnhTuanBui when you receive that check does that indicate anything? Or is that just the process ?

Were you also med surg memorial?
