Yay for the interview invites!! It seems like Memorial is the first to start making calls since their program starts in August compared to Grossmont which starts in October! If anyone hears from Grossmont ED, let ya girl know?

Would anyone who got an interview be willing to share what floors that got an interview for?

It seems like Memorial PCU and ED have sent out interviews. Not sure about other floors. And I haven’t heard of Grossmont or Chula Vista calling yet, but who knows!

Chula Vista ED has started sending out interview invites. I didn’t apply to Memorial so that’s all the info I know!

I can confirm Chula Vista ED interviews. I am external, bilingual(Spanish), 5 years Emergency department tech experience, will graduate in May. Aiming for an early June NCLEX date. Good luck to those who received invites.

For anyone who has heard back for memorial med surg , have you interviewed yet ? I interviewed and I’m trying to gauge on how it went bc I felt that it was a short interview. Any insight is appreciated !

@NurseGradSD Congrats on landing an interview!! Do you know if memorial med surg has sent out all their interview invites?

Also I have a friend who recently went through memorial's med surg program and she said the interview was extremely short! 15-20 minutes!

Thank you! I am unsure if they have sent out all interview invites, a couple weeks ago I was asked to rank top three choices. But I have not heard about other units or memorial in general. No info on if all units sent out invites/interviewed or anything else ..

Thats somewhat reassuring ! Although, some have mentioned getting a med question in the interview before but, I didn’t get one so that’s why I’m worried.

@NurseGradSD my friend interviewed twice with memorial for two different rounds. the first time she interviewed she didn't get a med question and the second time she did get one!! Not sure if that helps or what changed!

Any tips you can give to those at going to interview soon?! Would really appreciate it.

I also heard some units at Sharp do some sort of simulation interview. Does anyone have any info on this??
