I wanted to start a thread on the Sharp New Grad Program in San Diego that opened for apps today. Best of luck to all that applied!

Yay Coriander!!!

Thanks and Congrats Coriander!! I hope you get it! Does anyone know how the phone interviews are?

Phone interviews are very mellow - mostly asking about your resume or job experience, and perhaps a couple of questions about why you want to work for Sharp. Some behavioral questions, asking what you might do in a certain circumstance or how you bring yourself to patient care.

Good luck to everyone! I was in your shoes 2 years ago. :)

Coriander, What type of behavioral question? Can you give an example?

One of the popular questions I've been asked in 4 out of 5 interviews is, "Tell us about a difficult patient and what you learned from it."

I've been asked that too.

That question was in the supplemental q's. It is probably a good idea to look over the questions again huh?

I'm often asked questions that were in the supplementals, or to expand on those stories.

Of course there's the "tell us about a time you had a conflict with a coworker" question.

Does anybody remember when the Grossmont behavioral health program is supposed to start?

I believe that was one of the first to start. By now I think...

My friend started today at Grossmont behavioral health.
