I managed to pass all of my classes!!!! anyone that has been watching my posts and such will know that I was seriously struggling with my anatomy and physiology! I was going crazy! Close to the very end, it was then I realized the best way to study and access certain resources. I didn't think I was going to be able to pick myself up from the whole I dug in time to do well enough on the finals. My physiology came first. After going through the test I was pretty much swearing that I failed, like badly! I thought to myself... I understood maybe 20% of that test! I tried to not let it get me down and I studied even harder for anatomy. After that I thought, oh great I'm going to fail both sciences. I started asking around and making plans for what to do if I failed. Then A classmate of mine told me to look online because the marks were out. I was thinking for sure I failed the physio but then I might as well see if I happened to pass anatomy. Well I looked and HOLY CRAP!!! I PASSED BOTH OF THEM!! and my mark wasnt even that crappy.
I'm so relieved!! Now that I'm kinda getting the hang of this university thing, I wont make the same mistakes and torture myself like I was before.
Thank you all who have offered advice and kind words in this struggle, I hope to make you all proud. Those that passed too, I'm happy for you and I truly feel like we are blessed!

Congratulations! I am so happy to see here in your post that you passed both your A and P subjects! I was carried away by your emotions=) I can almost feel it and actually, that’s what almost all nursing students feel to some of their nursing subject and state/board exams as well. After taking the test you are not anymore sure if you have answered each item correctly and you will really be worried while waiting for the results, but after you got it and passed, you’ll be the happiest person in the world! Again, congratulations and keep up the good work!

That is awesome Dezy!
I had to repeat four pre-reqs (Microbiology, College Algebra, Anatomy, & Chemistry) and two semesters of nursing (Nursing 1 & 4). I'm now done wiht the program with the exception of the final exam... coming up soon.
If you make the extra effort and be resilient, you will make it through the end! Make sure that if you have another setback and fall, rise up again! Pray, be grateful for the support of your loved ones, and keep going!!!
I'm rooting for you !!!!! :)

Congratulations! Glad you took the advice! I remember you were upset about one of your instructors, but look what you accomplished when you let that all go! Keep up the great work and good luck with the rest of your classes

this is may sound weird, but in the courses that are not nursing, such as Anatomy & Physiology, Algebra, Statistics- when you sit for the boards, is there a lot of questions involving course work from the basic A & P, and the core mathmatics? Or is it more the nursing core classes, or both. thank you- I am questioning my retention.
I'm not done school yet but if your referring to the licensing exams I have heard it's based
On theory skills however you will need ur math skills
For Dosage calculations, and a good understanding of a and p to care for your patients and communication with doctors. A and p will also help u understand pharmacology and how one drug may help treat one thing or effect another drug.
