Well... the nursing program starts in 3 1/2 months and I am getting excited/scared. Lol. When I passed the TEAS-V, I had 10 months to go, so I've been waiting a while for this. Where's that group of friends on here who are starting the same time and place at OCVTS? What's your thoughts? Orientation is next month and I am excited about that as well. To future nurses :)

Hello PennyMT I will not be at orientation because there is really no need but I am exited and ready to get this started and finished. After orientation the class schedules will come out to which class everyone is placed in. Let me know your class and I will let you know mines. Best wishes.

I start my program in September as well, and I'm very excited/ scared too DEATH!!! Lol. In my program you have to keep a 81 average and that terrifies me just thinking about it. But I know once I start and keep nose in a book and study my butt off I can do it. Good luck to all of you.

I've been in my program a while and I know people that skipped out on orientation and missed vital information and a head start on doing things necessary for clinicals. If I were you I definitely wouldn't skip this moment to make your very first impression any of your instructors may be present and they probably will go over the student nurse handbook. If your attending a 12 month program and you have the idea that the actual first day of class will be a day of the teacher catching up on what you missed on orientation unless their nice it won't happen. I'd rethink the idea if I were you ijs
@CNAAJ
I am repeating the program and I have all the orientation information I went to a private orientation at he school already. All My health information is in background check complete and my CPR is complete so I am not missing out on anything. Thanks for being concerned though.
