We all like to think that meds are prescribed to benefit our patients, our family, or even ourselves. We give and take medications with the goal for the individual to be able to achieve an optimal level of functioning.
But sometimes meds are not taken as prescribed and are abused. Sometimes, prescription meds are taken by others for whom the meds are not prescribed. This is a form of self-medication and drug abuse.
And really: Who knows what goes on inside the medicine cabinet once the door is closed?

Looks like RX is being a pain in the rear, maybe that cream will help if RX self medicates with that (depending on where it goes of course, PR perhaps)

It looks as though Mr. Pill Bottle is in Type B Denial, Jedrnurse:
"... people with Type B Denial genuinely do not believe that they have an addiction. Even though their life might be heavily affected by their addiction, they find a way to rationalize and justify their behavior." -Christian Recovery

Daisy, do you remember that old joke, "What did the mayonnaise say to the fridge? Close the door, I'm dressing!"
Perhaps a PR Privacy joke is in order:

With all due love & respect, NurseBlaq, I need to inform you that the word CARTOONS is politically incorrect.
Please- the correct term is APIOTE, which stands for Animated Pictures In Order To Enlighten.
We wouldn't want a misinterpretation of things, would we?
It would be similar to a case of mistaken identity, like this poor chap here:
