As I wrote couple hours ago, I've got more than 60 SATA , 2 or 3 times 7 in a row, and then every other qs and this is the worse scenario I believe.I'm still waiting for my result!(even though I feel I failed). I rarely got SASTs right when I practiced. My prays are with you,Good luck.

i took my test on april 17. Like you did I got a lot of select all that apply. I didnt count it as i was taking the test, but i know for a fact that i had a lot. I probably got 25-30 SATA if not half of my 75qs test. I was depressed and frustrated after I left the testing center, because i hated those questions, i felt like i left out an answer or added a wrong option. As i was talking to my sister who was also a nurse and to my friend who just took the test, i was screaming in frustration and disbelief about the type of question that i got. I felt like it was unfair. My family can also tell you that i was already accepting the fact that i failed. I even told them that it would take a miracle for me to pass that test. I was already looking at the brn website on how to apply for a retest, then 5 days after, i found out that i passed, i absolutely dont know how, but i did. So theres a chance that you passed too. There's no way to really know, however, 27 SATA seems unusual.

When I took my PN NCLEX, I got about 30 med questions - generic name only, no context to the question, just xxx med, choose the action or side effect or contraindication. Most of the meds I hadn't heard of before. It seemed almost cruel, you know?

I wonder if this many SATA threw you into a higher level tier with a lot of alternate questions. Let us know how you did, OK?

I'm an instructor, and I love to hear about how 'unfair' NCLEX is. Why? Because the little man behind the computer is not 'out to get you' like we are :chuckle. It is what it is, and there's nothing you can do about it. I hope your school prepared you for this. I know we have been in our school, and of course the students can't stand it. They are extremely difficult, my head would be spinning if I had to answer them. I'm eager to share this with my soon-to-be-graduating students (the part about you getting 27 SATAs, that is).

Having said that, I'll bet you that you did pass. Because the SATAs are higher level questions, and you need less of those to pass. if you weren't getting them right, the computer would not have shut off at 75. They cannot determine that you do not know enough by that little amount of high level questions. That wouldn't be fair. If they were 75 knowledge or application questions, then I would be worrying.

Wow my nursing never threw out select all that apply questions at us. Even when we took our HESI tests. Along with the fact that as I read in one of my review books that The "new format" questions were not going to be asked so much or was not the majority of the test. With this being said I also got a repeat of one particular subject consistently. probably 7 of them where of the same subject.

Also I keep reading from many threads out there that SATA questions are supposedly the harder questions. Is this a known fact or just an educated guess? I am going crazy and especially for the fact that I am in California, you know how long it takes for the pass/fail to be found out. I am going to end up with an ulcer after all this worrying. I found myself looking at all of my books for answers of questions that I remember, and second guessing if i read the questions right. Wow I would rather give birth without pain meds:bugeyes: than have to take this test over again.

just wanna ask you when you took the test and how did you find out your result. i went to ca brn website an dit was last update may 2. how did you find your result today??? you mentioned your in cali. did you take it early last week??? Please help. I have been waiting too. thanks alot and congrats.

Well I guess I better stop complaining. I took my boards yesterday and got a lot of SATA and priority (like 25 to 30 of them) and computer shut off at 85. I don't think I did all that well and was praying that the test kept going to give me a chance to reprieve myself just in case I was doing bad.

When it shut off I about went crazy!! Everything seemed like a blur while I was taking the test. Almost like I really wasn't there but dreaming instead.

Here in Illiniois we can get quick results in 48 hours. So I only have to wait until tomorrow. They should do that for all states because a person can literally go crazy waiting for those results.
