I failed med surg 1, had to re-take, passed, then failed my final exam of med-surg 3 which made me fail the class the day before graduation. Since this was my 2nd strike, I was kicked out of the program. I was offered a loophole. Take the LPN program & then they would let me back in to finish the RN program. I did that but they reneged & want me to take all the classes over again; classes I had already passed. I appealed to the board of higher education but they dismissed my complaint as if I was trying to get out of taking classes required. The web portal actually shows I only need the one class for my ASN, but the nursing program denies me anyway. With the pandemic, I know that colleges are offering a lot more now by way of online classes & such, & I googled & did find a very competitive BSN program that says it will take transfer credits for nursing. If it is my only option, I am considering that route but really just want to get that RN behind my name first & would like to find an ASN program that will do the same. I've been an LPN for 5 years now. Any help would be appreciated.

ok.. I am lost again. I found a private university here in Orlando offering an "ASN" degree in 24 months. First of all, what exactly is this? She says at the end you qualify to take the NCLEX... so if you pass, this makes you... an RN???? Im confused. I also appearantly dont need any pre-req's, other than the NET... but they are appearantly changing that after this batch of students goes through. The course is 35k....does this seem on target? It seems the more I look into this, the more overwhelmed Im getting. Not to mention, everything I see seems to say that there's NO way I can work while doing a program like this. Lol, Help!
